You might want to check out eBay to get some current G4 Cube prices. Also, are you including the original discs and manuals for the software? If so - what software is installed?.......joe

...snip...
Then that's illegal, unless you include the original CDs. Just FYI.

yup. i will give you $600 for the cube if you want. While pretty, it is far less expandable then a g4 450 tower. And those go for $600 on ebay.

It's pretty bad how some people can act on these forums towards others.
Anyways, there's a right way and a wrong way to express your opinion to another if you feel what they're selling is not correctly priced.
*edit* guess that wasn't needed to help

Says who?
You can now buy dual gigahertz upgrades for a cube, you can replace the hardrive, you can go to the same ram amount, you can even get a superdrive for a cube now. So it's just as expandable.. and still pretty. Rare as well.

... i'd lose my mind.

If your Cube is still available I'd like to offer $700 - no software except the Apple CDs though please. I have a verified PayPal acct as well as positive-only feedback on eBay. Thanx.....joe

Not just as, sorry. No PCI slots, needs special-size video cards, can't take the vast array (especially the super affordable gigadesigns chips) of processor upgrades out there...
You want to expand, sure you can, never said you couldn't. Said it was far less expandable -which is the truth. And for what you can expand with, you will definitely PAY for. I'd take a comparable G4 tower any day.
That is, unless I needed something the size of a tissue box to sit on my shelf and play dvd's, mp3's and the like...
That's definitely one up for the cube.
