BARELY USED 64 MB RADEON 8500 MAC EDITION FROM OWC.

Popped it into my G4/400 for a week, but experienced multiple freezes (notably in illustrator), reinstalled jaguar, etc., etc. but no difference, returned card, got a new one no difference. By this time my 30 day return policy with OWC was up, and have been stuck with this card, useless in the box, out of $200, and out of the quartz extreme and 3D benefits I wanted .. for a couple of weeks now.

After an unsuccessful attempt to sell this card on ebay for $150 ( I don't want to loose any more than $50 on this really .. so a trade is really what I'm looking for ), I'd like to see if anyone here would like to possibly trade me a similar card, maybe the Radeon 9000? Or a GeForce 3? something you feel is comparable, though I will take a lesser card. The card I have this time has only been in my computer for a day, and after experiencing the same symptoms I decided it must be my G4 for some strange reason, even though it is fully compatible. I'll also sell it though, make your best offer.

If interested, please e-mail me at eric@burntwing.com. If trade, I'll cover any shipping, if buying, shipping $5 FedEx ground to anywhere in the U.S. Card still has ATI manufactors warranty as well, so if this one doesn't work for you you can get another from them, though I'm 99% sure that it is my computer and not the card itself that was causing these problems. I do not experience the same problems with the stock Rage 128 Pro.

Unfortunately no, this is the retail boxed version that has a VGA port and a DVI port, you can hook up an ADC based display to it, but you would need an adaptor. The card is exactly this one: http://eshop.macsales.com/Catalog_It...=ATI100431050.

Still interested ?
