For sale is my month and 1/2 old Sony Clie NR (the best series of the Clie line) series PDA. I used to be a Newton MP2100 user and swore I wouldn't use another PDA until I saw an Apple branded one. I bought the Clie, enticed by it's high resolution wide color screen, small form factor, 66MHz processor, 16MB internal storage, attached keyboard, MP3 functionality, and so on. I thought this might be enough to make me use a PDAagain, but I was wrong. I am selling my NR series clie, along with it's outboard audio controller/headphones, USB cradle/charger, 64MB memory stick, Palm Desktop for OSX, and licenses to both Kinoma Producer and Missing Sync. Missing Sync is essential for using all of the Clie NR series functionality with OSX, since Sony doesn't support the Clie for the Mac. Missing Sync allows the Clie to sync with iTunes for playing MP3's through the Clie's internal MP3 player, as well as syncing with iPhoto for importing/exporting photos and creating slideshows. Missing Sync alone costs $25. Kinoma Producer allows you to convert any QuickTime movie into a high resolution movie playable on the Clie. The video quality is fantastic and is only determined by the amount of storage space you have. Kinoma Producer costs $20 alone. I'm selling the Clie, headphons/controller, cradle, software and licenses for $400, which includes shipping anyway in the US. That's $100 less than I have in the Clie (which is only a month and 1/2 old). I can take PayPal or money order. Email me if interested.
