I was planning on keeping my PC and getting a 12" PB, but just to see what my other options are, what do you think I could get for this computer. I built it myself a little while ago, and it has served me well, but I'm considering making a 100% mac switch.

Athlon 1.33 GHz processor
EPoX 8K7A Motherboard
768MB (256+512, no slots free) DDR RAM
Teac 12x10x32 CDRW drive
NEC 12x (40x CD) DVD drive
Floppy drive
Western Digital ATA100 7200RPM 30GB hard drive
Maxtor ATA66 7200 20GB hard drive
Linksys PCI 10/100 NIC
Turtle Beach Montego II Sound card
Antec case with 300w power supply (looks like this, but without window: http://images2.newegg.com/productima...125-801-02.JPG)
Leadtek WinFast A250TD GeForce 4 Ti4400 Graphics card with 128MB memory

I think thats all of the main stuff. I have a feeling, though, that the processor speed would bring down the price just because of what current processors are running at. Everything else, for the most part, is up to date. A $100 processor upgrade might make the computer look more than $100 more appealing. Dunno, though. What's everyone elses opinion on this? I'm not currently looking to sell, but if it's worth it I might. Thanks for any advice.

I don't think you could get more than $500 for the system as is. New Dell computers with warranties (huge selling point) are so cheap now. I have a similar system, lesser graphics card, Athlon XP 1700+, that I paid just under $500 for about a year ago. Parting it out, however, would probably net you way more than $500. Maybe check out Ars Technica's Forums, The Agora Classifieds in particular. Lots of pc action there.

I'll take the NIC if you part it out.
If the ram is DDR2700 I might be interested in the 256.
