2 drives I'm looking to sell

1) bus powered red and yellow vst firewire hard drive, 6gb, it has a 4200 2.5 inch drive inside. comes with 6-6 firewire cable. very compact. $50 obo.

2)14.4GB 3.5 inch ide ibm hard drive - i believe it is a 5400 speed drive. $25 obo.

i don't want to insult you but if you're interested i'd give you $10 + shipping for the 6gb vst drive. hope you can sell 'em.

Yeah, and I'd give him his asking price of $50 shipped. But he hasn't responded to that email from 2 days ago.

BTW, I think it's best that if you want to offer a lower amount, PM or email.

I don't think he would complain but some sellers could be insulted that their items are being publicly devalued.

I was passing a note to the 'bidders' that its in their best interests not to show all the cards until it's called.

Most of this is what I've gathered from Anandtech's Sale/Trade forums.
