Just curious what you all think a 733 mhz digital audio (level 2 cache 256, level 3 cache 1mb) powermac G4 with a superdrive is worth. It has 1.25gb Ram, a 60gig hard drive, scsi card, and a 250mb internal Zip drive.
I'm selling my computer and think its worth between 1200 and 1400. Am I in the ball park or am I just nuts?
Thanks for your comments.

Well, start with the current PowerMac ($1499). Subtract a bit for the slower processor, lack of FW800, less expansion, age. Say, $400-$600. Add in the value of 1GB of ram, a SCSI card, and a ZIP drive. I think you're in the ballpark, but the best way to find out is to check on eBay and see what they're going for.

Hey Catfish,
Thanks for the reply. I thought maybe more people would have offered their ideas on the value of my system. I put it up on ebay, here's the link...

I'm hoping to use the money from this sale to buy a 15inTiBook. . .
Just wondering if I have a chance at selling it for my target price...

Ahh, the PT813. A very nice monitor! I was very fortunate lately to have found a family friend selling one. It sure beats my iMac 15" screen!

heh. ya know what bugs me?
You can get about 1200 for that max, I can't get much more for a g4 that's faster and has two processors :sigh:
Oh well.

You certainly should be able to get more than a digital audio 733 if you have a dual 800 or anything faster, assuming you have the RAM and other specs like a GeForce 3 (i think he had one).

Well, it won't ever be worth more (I have essentially the same machine), so be happy you sold it when you did if you want something else.
