Hi all,
I can get 1ghz powerbooks for very cheap through a friend of mine at Apple, and I can pass the savings on to you. If you're worried about the security of the transaction, I am willing to set up escrow and full insurance. Save over $800 by buying through me.
Apple 1 ghz Powerbook: $2,799 at Apple Store ($3,106 with tax)
I'm selling this item for $2,299!! (OBO)
E-mail me if you're interested, or if you're interested in any other Apple items (Desktops, laptops, LCDs, iPods, etc.)

There is no reason to doubt or think its a scam because I'm willing to do a full escrow transaction, so there's no way anyone can get ripped off. E-mail me with any questions/inquiries.

If willing to go Escrow, then yeah...no buyer needs to worry about anything.

Apologies for the double post, but would someone please explain exactly how one "goes escrow"?
Thanks.

Escrow, as far as I know, works kind of like this:
1.) You put money into an escrow account to cover the cost of the goods you are buying...that money is stored there until you release it once the seller has sent you the goods first.
2.) The seller sends you the goods and lets you inspect them to make sure it's EXACTLY what you wanted/ordered.
3.) The funds are then released to the seller upon your approval of the goods.
4.) If the product is not exactly what you had ordered/wanted, then you return it to the seller before you can get your money back via the Escrow service.
Safe for both parties.

And of course you'll want to have anything signature verified. This means that you will have a signed receipt from the other party that they did in fact recieve what you sent them, as proof in the event of ... bs of some sort.

I would suggest only using www.escrow.com
They are BBB Certified, and I think owned by ebay. If they refuse to use escrow.com and have their own site, DO NOT USE THEM. Could be fraud.

Hey Guys,
I'm now limiting my services strictly to college computer stores. I buy a computer for you with my college student discount, and have the store ship directly to you.
I JUST sold a 12" Powerbook + Airport Extreme Card + 3 Yr. AppleCare Warranty ($1921) to a user on a Mac forum. He is very happy with this purchase and is willing to be a reference for me, you can e-mail him at dornball@yahoo.com.
I accept Escrow for your safety, and also accept PayPal. If you want the 15" Powerbook, PLEASE contact me ASAP because they're running out of these models quickly.
Feel free to contact me at autumnserendipity@yahoo.com
