I've decide that it does not seem to pay to sell a loaded DP G4 tower - the individual components seem to be worth more than when bundled with the CPU. Therefore, before auctioning off a still fairly nice G4 DP800 tower on eBay, I'll take offers on the following components:

SIIG UltraATA 133/100Pro PCI card W/manual and cable

120GB Seagate Barracuda V Drive, 7200RPM, FAST and SUPER quiet - I believe these are quietest 7200RPM drives ever made

Apple Pro Speakers (digital audio)

Apple OEM SCSI PCI SCSI card

Apple Airport Card

Apple Internal 250MB Zip with Quicksilver Bezel + 2 *250MB disks

All of these items are in perfect working condition - some are very new (SIIG card, Seagate 120GB drive and Airport) and none require additional drivers to run in OSX.

Serious offers only - NOT interested in trade unless it involves partial payment for LCD iMac.

Does your DP533 have a 133 or 100Mhz bus?

If it's 133 my guess it will work. But I'm not sure I would sell just the processor module by itself if that is where you are going.

It would have to be asweet offer - don't think there is much of a market for a Quicksilver with no processor.

Why not buy the whole thing and sell your DP533 - seems easier - and it might be cheaper for you overall once you sell the old computer.

Nope. Among the many reasons, my 533's case has been customized to include two optical drive bays...
