I hate to do this, but with my new job a PC is required for me to get any work done. Doing both platforms is tedius and expensive. Thus, I must sell my 17 inch Powerbook and Brenthaven Backpack.
The Powerbook was bought from the Willow Bend Apple Store in Texas on March 21. It is the default configuration with 512MB Ram. I have the original box, receipt, discs (unopened), manuals (unopened), and anything else that came with it. The Powerbook itself is in awesome like new condition and I have taken great care of it. It has no problems. No dead pixels or anything of the like. It is perfect. I have also written/re-written DVD-RW with this even though the specs say otherwise (I was using Pioneer Media).
The backpack is the Brenthaven Backpack made specifically for the 17 inch Powerbook. It comes with a sleeve and has lots of padding. I only carried the Powerbook in this bag when ever I took it with me. Which was only to work/school and home. It is an awesome backpack to transport the Powerbook in. Extemely comfortable.
I am going to ask for $3200 for the entire package including shipping (overnight) and insurance (plenty of it). All offers will be seriously considered also.
Last but not least a few pictures:

If you have any questions please, please feel free to email me at chris@kaukis.com.
I have sold 2 other Powerbooks on this forum. Both buyers were extremely happy and are more then willing to be a reference. One buyer even refered to me as being God.
God, I can't believe I am doing this.
Thanks,
Chris

Just got news from my new job. This baby needs to go. I will miss it dearly. It is an awesome computer and whoever gets it is not going to be disappointed.
not sure if I am allowed to bump this thread to the top again. If not, it won't happen again.
Thanks,
Chris

Yes, this is the best laptop I have ever owned, Period! And rest assured, ever since I posted it for sale it has just been sitting on my desk at home being used as my email/internet dummy terminal.
Like I said, even though it cost a small fortune, I consider the best money I ever spent on a computer. It is truly remarkable. I really really hate to get rid of it, but I just don't have the time nor the money to have both a PC and Mac. So, it must go.
Also, please remember, that when I said the $3200 asking, that includes the Brenthaven Backpack (the exact one at the Apple Store) and Overnight FedEx/UPS with plenty of insurance and no tax to boot. And since your buying it used (barely), I can confirm that there is nothing wrong with it. No dead pixels, no overheating, no keyboard markings, no fan problems, nothing. It is perfect.
If you have any questions at all, please email me at chris@kaukis.com
Also, if you have any hesitations about buying it from me, I have 2 other people on this forum that I sold TiBooks to not long ago. They are more then willing to be a reference. They were ecstatic and very pleased with the final product.
Thanks,
Chris

You can always pay via PayPal and use your Credit Card. Get a Capital One No Hassle Card. First Year interest 4.9% APR after that it's 8.9% APR. And a $20,000 Limit.
Seriously, I really need to sell this computer ASAP.
I am now forced to throw in a Mac OS X 10.2.3 DVD Install Disk, Mac OS X Jaguar T-Shirt (in plastic still), and the latest devloper DVD. Just mention MacNN when you contact me if your interested and this stuff is thrown in at no charge.
Also, I did not buy this computer using my ADC discount. I wasted that on a TiBook. I bought this one from the Willow Bend Apple Store in Plano, TX in full.
Thanks,
Chris

Chris,
Let me know if you still haven't sold it by the time the new 15 comes out (don't know when though).
But if the 15 isn't all that it is hype up to be, I'll buy it off of you.
Here is my email address: ae86_16v@hotmail.com
Goodluck with the sale.

I hate those BS non-paying bidders. If you list it again on ebay it will definitely sell.

Ouch on the non-paying bidder...make sure you report it to eBay SOON, not for the bidder's sake, but for yours. If you don't report it, eBay assumes it sold, thus they'll charge your a percentage of what it "sold" for. You need to report it so they don't charge you that fee.

Yeah I know. I was just waiting 5 days to make sure. Just so I can say I gave him 5 days and 4 emails. If nothing by this afternoon/tonight it will surely suck to be him. And I probably don't have to pay eBay fees. Yeah!
Thanks,
Chris

I am going to do my damndest to make it work for everything (printing, development, whatever I would do in Windows, etc...).
Next pay day I think I will buy a new iPod for kicks and giggles. I am sure that will make me keep it without hesitation.
Chris
Oh, I guess I should mention to the moderators that my Powerbook is no longer for sale. Someone used "Buy-It-Now" on eBay but won't respond. So instead of going through the hassle of selling it I am just going to keep it make the best of it.

Well would you be willing to trade a G4 tower and LCD plus a bit of cash for the computer? Least you could recoup some money.
Let me know I go to Tulsa on business a lot! That and OKC.
