Bought new last November, upgrading to an eMac. Just reformatted HD and did a clean install of the OS (came with 10.2.1). Ran software update and it now has 10.2.6 and all the latest versions of QuickTime and the iApps. No personal apps come with the laptop.
Case in very good condition, couple small blemishes. Comes with a SleeveCase (with ballisitic flap) and medium GearPouch from Waterfield Designs for the laptop and powerblock/cord and VGA out cable. I have original packaging and all documentation.
Asking $1100 or best offer. Not interested in trade. E-mail me at dcmacdaddy@mac.com.

One should never stop striving for clarity of thought and precision of expression.
I would prefer my humanity sullied with the tarnish of science rather than the gloss of religion.

I've really got to sell it now. Now asking a firm $950. I sprained my ankle and knee playing soccer and I need the money for physical therapy, a new eMac isn't even an option now.
I can't believe no one is in the market for a used iBook. Can everyone but me afford the new G5's coming out next week?

Don't know about the costs to ship overseas but using the US Postal Service shipping calculator indicated that shippng it cross country here in the States (via 2-day Priority Mail) would be about $25-30. I imagine it would be substantially more to go overseas to the Netherlands but if you are seriously interested, let me know.

Interested here as well. I'm located in Canada, not sure on the current exchange rate, but looks like a good deal.
A couple questions:
Any dead pixels?
How's the case cosmetically ?
how much applecare is left?

Thus inducing a spinning vortex of chaotic proportions

It is still for sale. Someone . . . anyone . . . make me an offer. I need the money for PT.
No dead pixels and the only major blemish is a small scratch--about the size of a dime--near the front left corner by the hinge. I had it in my lap one time and turned around in my chair and the iBook scraped the underside of my desk. Not a big problem really--the integrity of the case was not compromised in anyway. The battery holds a really good charge as I am pretty religious about letting it cycle and not always running off of AC power. I never got AppleCare so that isn't a concern, but it is still within the one-year warranty period (until November 2003). I am somewhat flexible with shipping options and would even offer a price discount for an in-person purchase.
Anyone coming to DC anytime soon?

You rock ! This was a great transaction, and kind of interesting as we were both real cautious to start with. A reminder that there are some good people out there. Thanks again :-)
