I couldn't wait for a Radeon 9700 retail any longer, so I bought a GeForce4 Ti because it is supported by Maya 5 and ATi cards are not (yet). I am selling the Radeon 9000 Pro that came with my PowerMac and it is less than 2 months old.
Here are some
benchmarks that show the card stomping on the GeForce4 MX (440) that ships with earlier PowerMacs and the 1 GHz iMac. If you have a Geforce2 MX, this card will blow it away. It is AGP 4X but will work in an AGP 2X Mac, and has ADC + DVI connector with a VGA adapter if you own a CRT monitor.
