May I ask why you are looking to trade such a beauiful machine?
And are you trading both the tower and monitor for one PowerBook?

Well the reason why I want to trade is that I'm a computer guy already and have four PC notebooks with docking stations plus this G4 Tower. I'd rather have a G4 Notebook as it fits my lifestyle a lot more with my traveling.
Yes the monitor is included with the deal. That is why I'm not settling for a $1000.00 iBook or a older G3 Powerbook.
I know on eBay the tower alone goes for $1500.00 so hopefully someone will see a $550.00 LCD and trade me for something nice. Heck if it's nice enough I'll even throw down some cash.
I'm not looking to rip anyone off just to do a good honest trade.
Sean

So with the included extra 512MB of RAM, does that make it 2GB total or 1.5GB total?
And what graphics card does it have in it?
Man if I had a TiBook as well as my 17" PB I'd be all over this...this is a wonderful deal to anyone even remotely interested...best of luck man!

It'll have 1.5GB of ram I added 1.25GB of ram as it came shipped with 256MB. As for the graphics card it is a nVidia GeForce2MX 64MB if my memory serves me right.
Thanks all who have said it's a great deal. I thought this would be easy but apparently it's a difficult task. Tonight I'll be taking photos and posting them on the web so you can see what it looks like and what you get.

Gotcha...and just in case people seriously want to know what graphics card it has, it's easy to find out.
Click the Apple Icon in the top-left corner of the Finder bar and click "About This Mac", then click "More Info" on the box that pops up. Now click "Devices & Volumes" and find the "AGP" section and click the triangle beside it to unviel which card you have.

I have one interested party, but nothing definite. We'll see how much cash I'll need to throw down on it to obtain the 1ghz powerbook.

Damn this is tempting. I have a 1 ghz PowerBook with SuperDrive... I love this machine, and I bet most others do too, which is why you havent seen so many responses.
I need this laptop for when I go travelling... But come on people! This is an awesome trade, somebody must want to respond.

After spending 2 hours negotiating a deal with someone for their laptop they ended up not wanting to sell the laptop. Sooo it's off to ebay. I thought I'd sell to a forum member as I like those trades better but after my experience tonight I think I'll stick with ebay....
