Hi all,

I have a brand new, never used, 12" iBook 900 that I am looking to sell. Basically, it is an AppleCare replacement for my 6 mo. old iBook 800 that had recursive video problems. It is in the box, with all new materials. The Apple genius took it out to power it on, but that was it - this computer is basically NIB.

After three trips to AppleCare, Apple replaced my computer with a brand new one. The thing is, Apple now has this nifty 12" PowerBook that I want to buy, so rather than selling my iBook 800 when it turned one-year-old, I now have a brand new iBook 900 to sell right now.

Anyway, it has OSX 10.2 on it. It has the G3 900Mhz processor, 12" screen and a 40GB hard drive.

If you're not familiar with the iBook, it is basically the same width and height as a piece of paper, so it is very portable - which is why I got it in the first place. I love this computer!

It has a CD/DVD player, CD burner, and I have an Airport card for it as well, for wireless networks, if you want it. It has six months left on its original warranty (since I bought my iBook in November), but of course you can buy the extended three-year warranty for it.

It lists new for $1,300, plus $100 for the Airport card and about $100 in tax, totaling roughly $1,500. I want to get $1,300 for it, which is what it lists for. The extended warranty is $250, and you'd have to get it by the end of November, which is when the original runs out. I'll sell my 6 mo Airport card for 50$ with it.

I also have a 512MB RAM chip; it cost me $100 originally (from Macsales.com), and I'd sell it for the same to you, but I'd install it ($30 savings - same goes for the Airport card if you want it, another $30 savings).

I love this computer, but since I do a lot of heavy graphics work in PhotoShop, I want the faster processor. Its light and small enough to travel with me. This computer was great for my layout work in Illustrator and InDesign, Microsoft word processing, Internet surfing, etc.

I want to give Mac ppl first shot at this before I ask the rest of the world. Anyway, let me know what you think,

Um, you include the airport card in the price, then you want to charge for it?

$50 is too much for an 'old' airport card.

$100 is WAY to much for a 512mb So-Dimm

This is the first one i've see for sale on the forum, but I'd imagine you MIGHT be able to get $1200 for the whole package .
