Okay, I have a brand new iBook 900 that Apple sent me to replace my 6 mo old 800, which had recursive video card problems that Applecare couldn't seem to fix. The thing is, now I want to buy a 12" PowerBook, so I am selling this iBook before I ever use it and have a chance to scratch it! I don't need to tell you that iBooks rock! I loved my 800 so much, I now want the PB...

Here are the specs:
12" iBook 900/G3 with Combo Drive, new in box with all paperwork, cables etc.
All CD's still sealed and ready to go.
Six months left on the original one-yr waranty - the extended warranty is available.

With this new laptop, I am also selling my Airport card and my quality 512 RAM chip.

Here are their specs:
Airport card (duh) - six months old, still under warranty, with its original box and CD (for the base station).
512 RAM chip - lifetime warranty and guaranteed to always work with the laptop or it will be replaced for free - bought from Macsales.com, a trusted seller of quality RAM.

So, what do I want for all this? I am asking for only $1,300. That is what the new iBook 900 lists for elsewhere, but I am including the Airport card, and $80 value, for free. As well, I am including the RAM chip, a $100 value for free. I will also install these for free, a $60 value most places you go. In addition, keep in mind that there is no sales tax involved, which equals roughly another $100 in savings.

In all, this is a brand new computer that you can buy in any Apple Store. The difference is, when you buy this computer, you are getting roughly $340 in free equipment, services and tax savings.

I will ship the computer, either with the wireless card and RAM installed or not, in the original iBook box using whatever insured method you prefer. My eBay id and rating can be found at this URL: eBay feedback page.

Feel free to PM me or make a bid here. If you'd like and are willing to pay the administarive costs, I am willing to sell this through eBay as a reserve item using BuyItNow.

PM'd ya back.

And two notes to all the inquisitive - I am looking to sell, not trade, unless you have a brand new 12" PB, and some people have asked for pictures. Well, its in the box, so I can only take pictures of the box!

I will only pull the computer out if you want the Airport card and RAM installed. And the reason I am givingthem away is because neither is compatible with the PB - so I'm eating the loss.

If I don't get any definites by Friday, I will post this on eBay. The few iBook 900's I've seen so far have all gone for about what I am selling, but without the extras. Good luck to all, and message me if you have any questions.

Okay,
I have a page description of my new computer that is for sale, that you can view here at this page.

I took some pics of it, which are on the page along with my description. I will be listing it on eBay soon, but I wanted to show it off here first.

It was a sweet deal. My iBook and the Ram went for my asking price, but I still have an Airport Card to sell!

Anyone interested in a 6 mo. old Airport card? Should I start a new thread for this?

Yeah, he had his money in paypal and all ready to go, and only wanted the laptop and RAM, so I am happy. It cost me 30$ to go through eBay, but I got full price and my Airport Card, so its a wash.

Shipped my iBook off today. Good-bye, iBook, good luck in Nebraska!

Sounds GREAT man! I too had a unexperienced buyer that I was a bit weary about, however all went very smoothly via PayPal. Hope your iBook has found a good home...and smart move selling it before WWDC, I hear some nice new products will be rolled out that you can spend that sell cash on
