I bought this from JandR.com last week when they were $1708 (they are $1808 now). Rather than return it and lose the shipping charges, I thought I'd offer it to someone else. I removed the UPC sticker from the side of the box (doesn't affect anything, but I just want to be up front).
Check my flawless feedback on eBAy (USERNAME=Krypttic)that includes 4 Apple laptop sales over the past year. Don't "buy" your new laptop from a fraud (there's lot's of 'em out there!) Feel free to call or email me with any questions. Before you ask, here's my answers to very common questions:
1) I will not sell internationally

$1695 includes insured shipping from San Diego, CA. I can accept check, Money Order, Cashier's check (must wait for payment to clear), or Paypal--please note that if you use paypal, you must be a verified user and I can only ship to your confirmed address, also add $25 for paypal fees.
