Hi guys, I really need to buy a used MAC. I have had 3 deals fall through over the last week. All three fell through because after I had a confirmed deal someone would e-mail the seller and offer them a few bucks more to sell it to them. I understand this , and am not upset. But now I still have NO MAC. Please if any one out there has a dual they want to sell let me know. I have $1400 not a dime more. Help a guy out, my machine was hit by lightning, so I have nothing.

I have found that the ONLY hard thing about switching from PC to MAC is trying to do it without having to sell your organs to science to pay for it.

BTW - The new OS X looks so ******* awesome.

Thanks all in advance

Yeah I saw that, but I had to beg, borrow, and steal to get the $1400 I have now. Well OK just beg and borrow, but I am kinda on a time crunch also. So if I don't get a new machine I will have to pay to go edit two short films somewhere. Now that would suck.

Thanks

Still looking...

My recommendation? Go visit the Apple store - you can get a single processor 1.25GHz PowerMac system for only $1299. And it's new, and under warranty.

If you're a student, you're only looking at $1198, or $1472 for the dual 1.25GHz machines. Not bad.
