I have a couple of slimline slotloading optical drives for sale. The DVD-ROM (6x, i believe) is pulled from a G4 cube, and the CD-ROM (24x) is pulled from a slotload iMac.
They are both Apple OEM, manufactured by Matshushita. The DVD has been flashed to be region free.
The DVD drive can be put into a slotload iMac to give it DVD playback capability, which is what i bought it for, but ended up with an extra.
Both drives work well, AFAIK.
Asking $40 for the DVD-ROM, $16 for the CD-ROM, plus actual shipping (i'm in Canada. I expect shipping to be about $6 to the US, and maybe $4 within Canada)

I also have the adaptor to convert the 50 pin slimline connector to a 50-pin IDE connector, used in the iMac (and Cube too, i think). The drives will also work with the standard 40pin IDE + power connectors used with most PC slimline drive applications. It is shown here attatched to the DVD drive:
I guess this adaptor might be worth another $5, though i think if you have an iMac or Cube already, it should be built in.
