(Was $1649, Now $1599)

I'm looking to sell my PowerBook G4 667MHz. I'm asking $1599. I would sell it for less but I just added AppleCare ($349 value). I've also upgraded to 512MB RAM and Airport ($100 value). Specs include:

* DVI Output
* Battery still lasts around 3 hours
* 512MB RAM
* 30GB HD
* 1280x854 15.2" Screen
* 5.4lbs
* 32MB ATI Radeon 7500
* DVD/CD-RW
* 3-year AppleCare Warranty till August 2005
* No dead pixels
* Original Box and CDs/Manuals included
* FREE OGIO BrainBucket laptop sleeve that perfectly fits 15" PB.

This machine runs great and is in excellent condition. I think warranties are important, especially when buying a used computer. Many 667MHz PBs have exceeded the 1-year time frame when AppleCare can be added. Buy with confidence knowing that this computer is guaranteed for at least another 2 years by Apple.

Email me at elysian@excite.com. Local pickup in SF Bay Area.

Thanks,

Alma Chao

Elysian:

You'd easily get that on eBay. List it there also.

That's a GREAT price considering that a lot of people (including me) turn their processor down (in Energy Saver) to "reduced" processing and the machine is then working at only 666Mhz -- which is what your machine runs at.

Good luck.

I don't really like dealing on eBay. It's too much of a hassle. Posting here is much simpler and it's free!

Yeah, doing sales this big via eBay sucks.

First you get hit with the eBay fee, which would be a good $50 on something as valuable as your PowerBook. And then there is the 2.9% fee that PayPal charges if your buyer pays with a Credit Card, which is almost another $50. Bah.

Good luck with the sale.
