I am new to this forum and heard about it through anandtech.com I have advertised this computer locally but thought I might try it here also.

FS: iBook 700MHz G3 12.1" LCD, 384 MB Ram, 20 Gig HD, CD-Rom, 56k modem, ethernet, firewire and USB, Os X (jaguar) as well as 9.2

Bought from Cornell campus store in Nov. 2002. Barely used, in like-new condition. Am selling because I don't use it enough to justify keeping it (I have a desktop PC). Office X (Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc) is installed. Includes original box, softwares, documentations, and all accessories. Still has warranty on it.

Asking $725 OBO plus shipping. If anyone is in the central New York area, particularly Ithaca, NY and would like to see it in person, please email me.

Also, I have a an old Powermac 6500 and 15inch apple monitor, an external scsi 4x cd-r, serial 56k external modem...if anyone wants any of these, I'm practically giving them away free. You pay shipping...and if you're local, let me know! I am moving and don't need the extra baggage!

Cheers,
dotran

Igobyte:

I know how you feel with selling that machine. We are in the same situation! We have a gym which I'm trying to sell locally too. Actually, I've even considered giving it away for free as long as the taker is responsible for transport and disassembly. The machine will not fit in our newer, smaller apartment!

BTW, we will be in NYC this weekend until next Thursday for a conference so if you mean "dibs" on the ibook, we can bring it along!

If the ibook came with a combo drive I would mean dibs without the trade... Like this, I'll just have to pass and try to sell/trade the gym.

Well, best of luck with the sale anyhow.
