I have a PowerMac G4 600mhz. (It's an upgraded B&W G3)

896MB of RAM
16x CD Burner
Internal Zip Drive
120 GB Hard Disk
12 GB (original Hard Disk)
(2) Internal 10/100 PCI Ethernet Cards
Original Video Card.

To be honest this system is very fast for me, I'm guessing mostly because of the large amount of ram. I'd love to keep it but because of my job I need something more portable.

How much can I get for it? I also have a ViewSonic 17' Professional Series Monitor (for DPT) that I might be willing to part with.

I've noticed that "What is it worth" threads on this forum get little or no attention unless someone is actually interested.

There ought to be a rule against posting what's it worth, price check or interest check threads. This is a FS/FT forum, and if you want to sell something, just post a price you're comfortable with and people who are interested will give you feedback anyhow.

Igo:

I do want to sell it, but how can I do so if I don't know the price?

I understand you...well...

Personally, I'd check how much they go for on ebay and judge by that. If you've added extra parts, look up their cost and factor in in a reasonable fashion...
Even after you post a price, you can mention that it's flexible, and you can always drop it later if it's too high, but at least you'll get more of a response.

Pics would also help if you can post them somewhere.

I checked ebay and also looked by pricing for other stuff. The problem is it's a unique situation because it has the upgrade card in it. There is nothing on ebay similar, and I figured that who better would know than the group in here.

Anyway if anybody wants make me an offer.

I need to change the thread title to "FS/G4 600mhz, and 'stuff'" if an admin would be so kind
