ok, ill lower it to 900.

Keep in mind, the 'book is less than 6months old, still under warranty, has extra 256MB RAM, comes packed in original box with CD's, software and such.

900.00 is reasonable to me...

Actually, if you do a search of recently completed auctions on Ebay,
you'll notice them going for $1000-$1050. So his original price was pretty fair. Just my two cents tho.

Would you be interested in any trades? I have a whole bunch of hardware, an awesome diagnostics kit for computers, an MP5 airsoft gun with accessories, etc.

And you're not a price expert either.
Ebay's a pretty good place for getting an idea of the current value of stuff. Sure, some stuff is overbid but if you look at the closing prices overall, its a pretty good indicator.

Yet, this is still not ebay. I absolutely despise it when people on forums (experts, mind you) use ebay prices as a value guideline.

It doesn't matter - it's not against you anyhow, but people here are a little rigid when it comes to pricing used goods...

I think $900 to $1000 is the right price. Less than $900 is too little, more than $1000 is too much.

If you want your money i recommend selling it on ebay immediately. People are looking to buy computers for school. I've noticed iBook prices rising very high in the last few days.

For example. I saw an 500mhz ibook with 384 ram and original software go for 750$.

Gumby...

Interested in your iBook for school, and $900 sounds reasonable. Please email me at louise_all@hotmail.com ASAP to discuss transaction details if it is still available. Also, if you have any pics, I'd like to see the iBook.

Thanks!

No, but either way, eBay gives you a market price for your product. So yes, eBay is a good buy, even though there are people once in a while that over bid on items. Nevertheless generally it is a pretty good price range to follow.

UNSOLD because I changed my mind -- getting a Powerbook instead.

But bump for a great price on a great machine, and a great seller - gumby was really nice and cooperative throughout.
