I finally upgraded to a TiBook so it's time to sell my trusty ol' iBook. Originally purchased in late 2001, this is one of the first rev B models. It's the 500 MHz model, so the only significant difference from rev A is the 15 GB drive. I have used this computer almost daily and it's functioned flawlessly. There is some normal wear-and-tear but the overall condition is very good. There is a single dead pixel (black) a couple of inches under and left of center that's been present since day one. I do notice it from time to time but it's not bad IMO.

What's included:
  • iBook 500
  • 384 MB RAM
  • 15 GB HD
  • Aiport card installed
  • 24x CD-ROM drive
  • original battery still holds a decent charge (~3 hrs)
  • virgin Jag.6 install on freshly formatted HD
  • 10.2 on CD (copies)
  • ships in original box with original CD's and documentation

$650 shipped from LA. Local transaction would be nice, but is certainly not required. I'd rather do a money order or cashier's check than PayPal, but I'm flexible on this.

550 seems fair to me.

I paid that for an iBook off this forum with almost same specs.
except DVD instead of CD and no airport.
