Hi,

I just bought my first house. So, want to sell the laptop to buy furniture. The laptop is in excellent shape except there are some scratches/paint wore off where the laptop security lock is. The laptop is about 2 months old.

Here's what you get for $2099

1 15 in PB 1 GHZ + all original accessories and box
2. upgraded RAM to 1 GB
3. Booq 15" powersleeve
4. Podium pod
5. kenniston laptop lock
6. Warcraft III CD and silver Throne expansion CD - This plays like a
dream (orginal media + book)
7. Everquest for Mac (original media + books)

Everything is in awesome condition, a great buy!

Please let me know.. Thanks..

yes, sorry.. its a superdrive. I bought it from smalldog.com as a new refurb unit straight from apple, it was in a shipment of like 40 PBs. Also, I am throwing in DIABLO II and Exp disc too . All three games I own (EQ, WC3, D2) play with all effects on and no slowdown, its amazing. Let me know. Thanks!

Everquest runs in Widescreen.. I only played the game about 10 levels. At level 10, you have to retrieve your corpse when you die. I died in a cave and lost all my armor and gave up. Everquest runs with 1280x856 resolution which my friends brand new P4 laptop cannot do. It is amazing. The game is very smooth.

Sorry I dont have pictures yet. The story with the lock is it took me about a week to figure out how to use the lock and I scratched the case. The trick is you have to get the 3 posts lined up before you connect the lock. Of course the directions do not tell you that. There are zero scratches anywhere else. The lock is on the side and in the back corner so you cant even see it, at work I leave it locked at all times if I bring it to work. The paint touch kit would fix this. It is just the paint is wore off around the hole, not deep scratches or pits.

I'll get some pictures possibly tonight. I dont have a digital camera, but I'll see what I can do. Thanks so much for the interest.
Please call me if you have any quetions about the machine or how Java runs on it.

I have decided to keep it and continue using it for its original purpose: a training tool for J2EE and modern UNIX/Java.. Thanks for
your time to check out my ad. It is just too sweet of a computer to sell for such a loss. Thanks. Jacob

You can always sit on the computer box.

Or put the powerbook on stilts and use it as a table.

Enjoy your machine, anew!
