Hey aspiring movie makers,

I have a Canon Ultura Mini-DV Camcorder for sale. I'm looking for $200 + shipping OBO. It's in excellent condition and includes all the original goodies.

Camera with 16x zoom and 320x digizoom
Rechargable Li-on battery
AC Adapter / Battery charger
all firewire and original A/V cables
remote
buttload of DV Tapes
camera strap, and handy little purse that I've been carrying it around in.

I even have the original box and manuals
(I think)

It's a great little camera but around the same time I bought it back in 2000, I also lost interest in shooting on video. So mainly it has just been sitting around collecting dust. My truck recently died and now I'm trying to scratch a little extra cash together for a down payment.

If you ever wanted to try your hand at making movies this is the way to go. Works flawlessly with iMovie and Final Cut. I even used it as a still camera back before I got a good camera. (Although be forwarned that still video frames are no substitute for a cheap digital camera.)

If you want to see some pics email me and I'll send you as much as you want. I'm kind of desperate to move this item so if you're interested please speak up before the weekend.

While digging through my toybox I also came across this.(something I swore I would never part with)

A Fisher Price PXL-2000 Pixelvision camera. In very good condition but the tape drive is burnt out. Can still be used to record as a pass thru device, just can't record onto actual cassette tapes anymore.

If you know what these are I don't need to explain how insanely eff-in cool these things are. If you've never heard of them then you'll never understand why I want at least $150.00 for it.

Thanks for looking,

To everyone who has expressed interest in the DV camera, thank you very much for your emails. The camera is still for sale. I have sent an email with additional details about the sale to each of you. If you need further info please contact me again.

and to Moonsocket, thanks for the pimptastic praise of the popular PXL-2000. I feel your grief over the passing of yours and am slighty encouraged that it makes mine even a little more rare.

To recap, PXL-2000 is still on the auction block. DV camera is pending sale but not sold yet. Other than that I'm running out of stuff to sell, unless you are the type of person who is really into star trek/star wars micro machines or possibly some autographed books by Dave Hickey.
