Ok, so I have my old G4 733 QS that I am going to need to sell. I've currently done the following upgrades:
Flashed PC Geforce 3 (PNY part, works perfect in the mac. Mac came with the GF2MX)
1.5 GB total RAM (Came with 128MB)
ATI 7000 32MB Mac Version (for a second monitor, GF3 doesn't do dual head)
Pioneer DVR-104 (Retail, but works fine, fully supported for burning and booting. Came with CD-RW drive)
Now, my question is this... should I take these parts out and sell them seperately, or should I sell the Mac with all of the additional pieces?
If I sell it with the additional pieces, I would of course include all of the other pieces that have been replaced (GF2MX, 128MB DIMM, CDRW drive)
Which do you think would sell better? Stock 733 (Maybe keep the upgraded RAM in there, but that's it?) or the fully upgraded system?
My next question is, how would you price this? 733's seem to be in the neighborhood of $800 on eBay. With all of these additions, I would see it being at least $1100.
Thoughts? How much would YOU buy these systems? (Well same system, but how much would you pay for each of these configurations). I want to know what you would consider a great deal. A price that there's no way you'd pass it up. I'm selling my iBook for a pretty good price I think, and had tons of inquiries. I want to do the same with this.
Thanks for your help!
