Hello all.
I need some help fixing a bad choice I made.
I recently bought a top of the line XP computer, and now I want to sell it. Why? Basically I'd been a Mac user for 15 years, and time came to buy a new box, my friends talked me into going Windows, and now I'm regretting it. There's nothing wrong with it, it works great... it's just not a Mac. So now I'm looking to sell it off to re-coop most of what I spent on it and buy a G5 instead.
Here's the link with all the important info:
http://homepage.mac.com/codywalton/ebay/pc/
If anyone out there is interested in buying please contact me. And please pass the link on to any PC gamers you know who might be interested.
Here's to hoping I can correct this mistake soon. Thanks.

One of the mods just recommended the Agora Classifieds to someone else just a few threads down form this one. Very high traffic with tons of PC users and a few of us Mac people too. I sold an iPod there a few months ago. I bet someone there would want your machine.

You have some evil friends.. you should include them in your bundle and sell em away to someone else. But yeah you should def put your sale up on the OpenArs Agora- and another place which is just as influential (and maybe more?) [H]ardForum . Good luck

Thanks for the Agora link. I put a post up there.
As for the price. Originally I spent $2000 on this setup. I realize that since it is slightly used I won't be able to get back the full price, so I am willing to sell it for as low as $1700.

I've been told by people on some othe forums that $1700 may be asking too much. So, I'm lowering that to $1500. But that's about as low as I can go. I need to re-coop at least 3/4 of my initial investment.

Ouch... welcome to the PC world where parts depreciate DAILY! You will only get near $1500 if you part it out. You got some high end parts there but for $1500 on eBay and at many mod-shops you can get the same system with a 3.2ghz+ processor. In teh PC world there are tons of people wanting to upgrade their components and only a few wanting a turn-key highend system

OK. I've lowered my reserve price to $1300. Last chance for someone to grab it before I put it back up on ebay, Friday afternoon.
