First-time poster here. I have the same ad over at forums.anandtech.com where I have been trading since 2000. I was referred here by a couple people some time ago and it looks like a great place for mac lovers!

I'm sure you all know what this is!

1.6GHz PowerPC G5
800MHz frontside bus
512K L2 cache
256MB DDR333 128-bit SDRAM
Expandable to 4GB SDRAM
80GB Serial ATA
SuperDrive
Three PCI Slots
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 Ultra
64MB DDR video memory
56K internal modem

Get all the information at [L=Apple.com]http://www.apple.com[/L]

Brand New (just delivered) and I'm not touching the box. This is a replacement machine for a PowerMac G4 I purchased in May that worked for a very short period of time. What was thought to be a faulty SuperDrive turned to two months of agony while the techs at the Service Center replaced part after part after part. Anyway, I am now an owner of a PowerMac G5. And while I would LOVE to keep it, I just purchased a car and would rather get most of my funds back to pay of the loan on this bad boy.

Price- $1800 + Shipping. As far as shipping goes I am willing to work with people on this since I do live in Alaska and it may be a little pricey depending on the shipper you want to use.

Payment- Since my paypal account is messed up I can only accept Money Order or Cashier's Check.

POSSIBLE TRADE- I may trade this for a laptop + cash. Just depends on what you got!

Thanks! Email is probably best!

I've got a 15"Ti 1Ghz/1GB Ram/60gig hard drive and SuperDrive. I may be interested in a trade, i'll think about it some more, but just wanted to throw it out there for ya. Can't do much cash now, not until I sell some gadgets ;-)

A bump before ebay.

If anyone has an offer I am open to it. I can't really take too much less than the $1800 as far as a cash thing goes, but I am in the market for a PC laptop. I could get by with something old & cheap + cash OR I would like to replace my desktop PC with a nice lappie.

The later would be my preffered deal. I can get rid of my Mac and my PC and be no worse for wear.

Thanks!

If you have not sold it I do have a Dell laptop I might trade for with cash. I do not know what it is worth though. It still has two years left on the warranty. Specs:
zip
floppy
2 battery
dvd-rom
12.1" screen
ethernet
modem
2 PC card slots
standard ports
XP
It currently is saying 697mhz I think it is closer to 900, it seems to change every time I restart.
