I actually just received this machine on saturday and realized this is way too much machine for myself for I am only a college student. The specs are as follows, 1.25ghz G4 processor, 1 gig of ram(sold the 512 megs that came with it, and threw in 2 Crucial 512 meg chips $149 each) 80 gig hd(5400rpm), 2x Superdrive, ATI Radeon 9600. This computer has no white spots either! Seems to be a gem among the rest. I am asking $2999 even though I did pay $3164.50 total for this machine. This is the best deal you will find if you are looking for a gig of ram and the 5400rpm drive. Even better there is no wait, I will ship with all the original materials(half of it isnt even opened, fresh DVD-R and cables not even touched). So if anyone wants to save themselves $165 let me know. I will consider any offer, but I am going to stand firm around that price for I am only a college student and money doesnt grow on trees for us Contact me by email at quentink@cox.net. Happy Bidding. Also if you would like a picture of the machine or have any other questions just let me know.

Nope, Apple has it priced at $3124 USD. Note the faster HD and the gig of RAM.

Stop the thread crapping. If you're not interested in purchasing the FS item, then DON'T POST IN THE THREAD! Keep any pricing concerns to PM or email.
BTW I priced out the machine to $3,124 on the Apple Store. Good luck with the sale!

thank you steve, as I said, you would be saving right around $150. I am willing to sell it a little bit cheaper, but again I am a college student so I guess I can bite the bullet if need be. I just want to get this machine to someone else that might use the power cause I am not going to come close. Live and Learn.

forgot to mention that I would be including the 15" Brethhaven backpack as well, retail $160 I believe. Great pack, I think the best personally.

I say, list the specs in a better format in your original post and offer $2,999.00 shipped. It is a good deal, and maybe even configure the same setup on the Apple Store and take a snap shot of it and post a picture so you don't get any more idiots saying its $2600.
edit: And actually, with the case its well over $3,200 new.

Don't forget if you have to add tax to apple store orders if you state requires it. Great deal.
I hope it sells.

Here are the specs again
15.2" Albook
1.25GHZ G4
1 Gig of Crucial Ram(2x512meg)
Superdrive
80 gig hd(5400rpm)
-Note: You can only get this through the apple store, meaning you will have to pay sales tax.
ATI Radeon 9600 64meg
Brethhaven 15" Backpack(Retail $179)
For all of those who are interested go and price it out at the Apple Online Store, without the extra 512 megs of ram and without sales tax it comes to $2903. Thanks for those who have pointed out this that is a great deal, like I said before I just bought too much machine and I would love to sell this machine to someone who could use the power.
I would also like to note again that this computer has no white spots, why take the risk in ordering from apple when you could end up with white spots and end up having a month turnaround time in getting a new unit.
Asking Price: $2999

No offers? Someone must be looking for this config and I would take $2799 w/o the backpack. Damn I really dont need this machine, is there something about this machine that is scaring people away? Let me know if so.

I would soooo make an offer, but being a college kid myself, all I can really offer is a trade. And even though I have a crap load of software, I don't think my 12" 867MHz PB with 640 MB ram, 60 Gig HD, superdrive, bluetooth, would get me far, even if I threw in my Apple Bluetooth Keyboard and an Incase Carrying case........

Believe me, dude, if I only had the cash...
You wouldn't happen to be interested in a trade for an upgraded G4 cube with a 15" Apple flat screen + cash OR a Tibook 800mhz supped up + cash would you?
If by any chance you are, email me at jonas@ite.net.

Hey guys, thanks for the replies, I am really just looking for cash to invest into a floor model 1ghz tibook, I am getting a pretty good deal on it, but I need to sell this machine first! The only trade I can really see myself doing is if someone has a 1ghz tibook + cash they would be willing to do. I guess I just got to keep this post going and sooner or later someone who is looking for this config and has cash will take it off my hands. BTW if any of you guys are interested in my xbench scores, take a look on their site. My name under the powerbook g4(al) section is mrthick. As you can see I have the highest score out of any 1.25ghz albook out there. Dare I say I have the fastest 15" albook out there? I told you guys it was too much speed for me! Well here is to someone taking this off my hands.

TAX! People never remember to factor in that EDU Discount MUST have tax attached! Regardless, Alum., you'll fetch more on eBay

Unfortunately I was only 10 months from my previous purchase using edu discount, so I had to pay for it straight up, and thats correct, I hate TAX, it was another $150. Hope this clarifies things.
