I'm interested in selling my Power Mac G4/500 AGP tower. This Mac actually started off as a G4/350 PCI tower, but I bought a motherboard and processor on ebay and converted it. This machine has been very well cared for and runs without problems for over two years. You'd be surprised at how well it runs Panther. =) Here are the specifications.
• 500 MHz G4 processor (1 MB L2 cache)
• Retail Radeon 8500 AGP (VGA, DVI, S-video), 64 MB DDR RAM
• 512 MB RAM
• 20 GB (Maxtor 7200 RPM)
• DVD-ROM
• 250 MB Zip drive (internal)
• 2 USB, 3 FireWire ports (1 internal)
• 10/100 Base-T Ethernet
• Audio In/Out
There are two caveats: the backplane is missing and the Zip drive bezel is not completely flush with the case. Of course, these things don't affect functionality at all. The processor is upgradeable with a G4s up to 1.4 GHz. This computer has been cleaned inside and out and the OS of your choice will be installed. The original box and accessories will be included.
