No offense, but I seriously doubt you'd find some stranger online to actually give you "credit" on a computer. Your best bets are Apple's financing, some other store's financing, getting a bank loan/credit card, etc. if you need this on a payment basis.

another option might be to pick up an older Powerbook Wallstreet then upgrade as you come into the money. I know of a very very mint Walstreet 300mhz for $300 bucks. Later on you can get the Powerlogix
G4 500 card and a FireWire PCMCIA card should you need it. You'de also get a much larger LCD out of it.

Stop crapping on the thread please. The last post was great (nice suggestions etc) but the other ones were completely uncalled for. Thanks!

My name is heuer007 and I don't know what thread crapping means! If I do it again, I'll be banned from this forum!

heuer007 -- I bet your rich mommy and daddy buys you everything you want. I guess you don't know what "stop crapping the thread" means either. Get a life and a job.

stwain2003 -- Apple has some great deals on refurb iBooks on their site right now. Just check in the Special Deals section on the left hand side. You can get a loan through Apple and if you are a student or educator it is almost a sure thing. Good luck.
