I need to sell my heavily upgraded G4 Desktop machine, which started life as a plain-vanilla G4/400 early-rev Sawtooth machine. The specs are now as follows:

1.1 Ghz Giga Designs processor w/2MB L3 cache (rated at 1.0 Ghz, runs perfectly at 1.1, I've pushed it as high as 1.2 but was worried about 'processor fatigue' so backed it off again.)

Radeon 8500 64 Meg AGP video card in 2x AGP slot (Flashed PC Radeon, full-speed card -not an LE card- with VGA, S-video out and DVI-D port.)

Second PCI Video Card for another VGA out (ATI XClaimVR Pro, 8MB Memory)

832MB RAM memory (3x 256, 1x 64)

40 Gig Maxtor 7200 RPM Hard drive (main drive for OS X.2)

4 Gig Quantum Fireball 5400 RPM Drive (secondary drive for OS 9)

BRAND NEW (Less than 1 week old) LG-branded 48x24x48x16x Combo CDRW/DVD drive in optical drive slot (replacing the OEM DVD drive, which was failing) Fully compatible with iTunes/Disc Burner/DVD Player, Bootable.

OEM Iomega internal 100 Meg Zip Drive (very little use)

56K internal modem

BRAND NEW MacAlly iKey keyboard, almost-new Kensington Optical Elite 5-button/scroll wheel mouse.

I'll include the System disks that I have for this machine: An OS 10.0.3 set, with upgrade disks for 10.1 and 10.2.

I will leave in the machine, for an extra $100, the pro-level audio card that's in it, an M-Audio Delta 66. This is a 24-bit, 96Khz capable audio card with SPDIF digital ins and outs, and 4 Analog ins and 4 Analog outs in a high-quality metal breakout box. The Analog-to-digital converters are great, and it sounds absolutely amazing.

Cosmetic condition is very good; a few very light scuffs on the case, barely noticable. "Fixins.com" sticker on the front handle, I'll remove it upon request, but it's a great conversation-starter :-). Pictures emailed upon request.

Asking price: $975 plus actual shipping from 92675 area (or if you're in the Orange County/Los Angeles area, I can arrange drop off/pick up to save shipping); I can accept payment via PayPal, or USPS Money Orders; I'm more than happy to do an escrow service at buyer's expense. Check my feedback, if you wish, at ebay: mr_brent_k (note the underscores). It's not hugely expansive, but it is all positive, and virtually all Mac-related.

I'm also in the market to replace my recently-deceased Pismo Powerbook with something that's good enough to be a "desktop-replacement"; I'd consider trades, with cash either way to balance, for a recent-vintage iBook (with a combo or DVD drive), 12" Powerbook or 15" Powerbook (except for the original 400 and 500 MHz models.)

Please e-mail me with offers or any questions that you may have: brentoveson@fastermac.net or, leave a reply to this post.

Thanks for looking!

Brent

Bump, and a price reduction.

Any interest at $900 plus shipping?

I'll keep this here until Wednesday; if there's still no interest, it's going on eBay Wednesday afternoon.

Thanks,
Brent

If you'd be willing to sell the machine with the stock drive and sell the LG Combo to me, let me know via Private Message.

Thanks.
