Okay, I'll be getting a dual 450 G4 pretty soon and it only has a Rage 128. I want to get a QE-capable graphics card as a replacement. Something as low-end as a Radeon or GeForce 2MX is acceptable, but a nicer one like a Radeon 8500/9000 or a GeForce 3/4MX would be nice too. I don't want to spend much over $100 though, so a GeForce 3 or Radeon 8500 is probably a bit out of my price range.

What sort of monitor(s) do you need to drive ?

I have a Radeon 8500 (64MB) in my system and my daughter's. Both are PeeCee Radeons, flashed with Mac firmware. You should be able to find one of these "built by ATI" cards for under $75 on ebay.

I already found one, a cheap ($50) plain jane Radeon. Thanks for the suggestion guilliamo, I'll keep that in mind if/when I want to upgrade.
