Greetings,

I have several Christmas goodies for sale at this time.

First,

I am looking to sell "Invoked" my Pismo G3 500 Mhz PowerBook within the next few weeks. The unit is still in excellent shape and would be a welcomed addition to any Mac abode.

Specifications:

500 Mhz G3 Processor
100 Mhz System Bus
1 MB L2 Cache
18GB Hard Drive
6X DVD-ROM/CD-ROM Expansion Bay Drive (Hot Swap)
56k v.90 integrated modem
10/100 BaseT Ethernet Port
PC Card Slot
VGA Monitor Port
S-Video out port
Infrared port
2 USB Ports
2 Firewire 400 Ports
TFT 14.1 inch (Active Matrix) Display - 1024x768 px

Upgrades:
768 MB RAM (stock: 256MB)

Accessories:
1 Power Adapter -
1 Additional Li-Ion Battery
S-Video to composite video cable
Weight Saver Insert for Battery Bays
Your choice of operating System
(Was bundled with OS 9, but will throw in a complete copy of Mac OS X Jaguar or Panther (10.2/10.3) and 9.2.2
All associated manuals and discs included

Battery Configuration:
2 batteries in Pismo or 1 battery and/or DVD-ROM/Weight Saver Insert.
The newer battery yields around 2.75/3+ hours in Mac OS X (recently replaced from a kind mac fan)/The other battery will still hold around 2.5 hours as well.
Of course, mileage will vary depending on your useages, screen brightness, running Classic with OS X, etc.

Performance -
"Invoked" still runs Mac OS 9.2.2 and Mac OS X pretty well, especially with the extra RAM. I've used "Invoked" for contract Web Development (DreamWeaverMX/FlashMX), Apache/CGI/PHP/MySQL server applications, DV editing, DVD conversion to QuickTime/MP4/VCD, Audio encoding, mixing (DJ), music creation, word processing, etc.

Nice Extra -

MCE XCaret Pro 2000 Media Bay CDRW Expansion Bay Drive - Model RW2K4420. This drive has been a godsend on the road when needing to burn something for Mac/PC clients or custom audio CD's.
Speeds are 20/4/4 - 20 on playback - 4 on both record/re-write. Works perfect with Toast Titanium and iTunes.

That's just a little rundown for everyone. I was interested in posting here first because I'd like to sell it to someone privately then going the E-bay route if possible.

If anyone is interested in offering a reasonable amount, I can provide digital photos of the unit and post them. I don't really have a set amount per se, so feel free to make an offer. I am ready to sell this and another unit now, so if there are any offers or interest for these units, please let me know.

Additionally,

I also have a PowerMac G4 500 DP for sale. You can see details of it at

http://invoked.home.mchsi.com/mac/pmsell.html
NOTE: Either Panther (10.3) or Jaguar (10.2) can be provided -

For serious/interested parties of either unit. Please e-mail me at

invoked@hotmail.com

Cheers!

Small correction on your Dual 500 sale page: it actually only has AGP 2x.

Bump for a nice machine.

"That's Mama Luigi to you, Mario!" *wheeze*
