*as though at an auction*

"...And here we have a lovely little white box PC that comes equipped with an Intel® Desktop Board (model: D815EEA2/D815EPEA2) with a 1.2ghz Celeron processor (P3 based, not those wondercrap P4 based versions**) on a 100mhz bus. 256mb of PC133 ram in two modules are included. The system features a PCI Realtek 10/100 BaseT card and an open AGP slot for your PC compatable AGP video accelerator or you can use the mainboard's integrated Intel Extreme Graphics VGA for your 2D needs. The system comes in a clean and simple white mid tower ATX case with a 1"x1" Black with Silver Newegg lettering case sticker on the front above a blue/green (think of a Blue and White G3) lower front panel. To round off the sale, the system includes a quality 52x LG brand CD-ROM drive in the top bay and a 5400rpm 8 gig Seagate harddrive that can be shipped clean or with an install of Windows ME for an additional $15***.

So what do we have, ladies and gents? We have an admirable little system with nothing but high quality name brand components suitable for your every day word processing and internet needs, a test vehicle for suspect components, a Linux experimentation or "mule" machine for alternative OSes, or a cheap no-hassles office machine for a non-profit organization or club. Asking price is $75 shipped FedEx Ground in the case's origional box."

**A note about Celeron Processors. The distinguishing charactaristic of Celeron processors over their big brothers is the amount of L1 and L2 Cache. This processor has 64k L1 and 128kL2 cache, pared down from 64k L1 and 256k L2 cache in the normal PIII processor.

***In compliance with MacNN software policy, this system will include a Windows ME license from Microsoft and the origional Windows ME install CD along with manual and packaging. If you have your own OS, no need to buy the Windows ME option.

SOLD
