5.25" Desktop Combo Drive
Original Apple Drive, Plays CDs and DVDs, burns only CDs.
Pulled from a new MDD Dual 1.25GHz G4.

Combo ("Combination") drives (DVD-ROM/CD-RW) have the capability of creating music and data CDs and reading DVD disks. The drive writes to CD-R at 32x and CD-RW at 10x, reads DVDs at 12x, and reads CDs at 32x. The drive supports CD-ROM, CD-Audio, CD-R, CD-RW, CDI, CD Bridge, CD Extended, CD Mixed Mode, Photo CD, DVD-Video, and DVD-ROM media.

(Its an ATA drive in case you don't know)
This Apple drive goes for about $350 I believe new from Apple. I'll sell mine for $225. Thanks.

Not sure if this is an attempt at humor, or a serious ad. Superdrives can be had for close to $150...like <http://eshop.macsales.com/Catalog_Pa...&Template=>.
I'd go $60, including surface shipping if you decide you want to sell your combo drive.

Thanks,
G

Those are 3rd party drives, OEM Apple Drives are a ton more, and thats what I have.

He is correct about the OEM SUPERDRIVE http://www.welovemacs.com/dwu10a.html

I personnally prefer OEM parts especially when dealing with apps like iTunes because Apple is making purposely making it harder to use 3 party drives with them.

He is selling an OEM COMBODRIVE like this one. http://www.megamacs.com/v1/index.php...mp;pid=1532476 which is much more compatible than any aftermarket drive.

You aren't allowed to criticize pricing, that is considered thread crapping and sooner or later Steve may actually do something about it.
