Wondering if anyone was interested in the G5 package I'm selling. The ad is below.
Of course, you'd have to be within driving distance of NYC - shipping for all of this would be astronomical.

======================
Whelp, I'm selling my G5 rig. It's barely used, basically brand new, still under factory warranty. It's about 2.5 months old. It was destined to be my video editing system, but at the rate production is going, it's not worth keeping around - by the time I'm ready to edit, there will be a much better G5 out! I've only been using it for e-mail and web browsing up to this point, and the occasional game of Unreal, so the system really is flawless and in gorgeous condition - not a mark on the case, etc.
Dual 2.0 GHz G5 processors
2GB DDR RAM
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB (one of the best cards on the market)
Two 250GB SATA hard drives
AirPort Extreme card and Bluetooth built-in
SuperDrive (writes DVDs)
Gigabit Ethernet (no dialup modem)
OS X Panther (on the computer already, and I'm including the full CD set, manual, etc.)
All the specs are here:

This system retails for exactly $4994 from the Apple Store. I have ALL the original packging, including the box, save for a piece of cellophane or two.
Also in this package:
* Samsung 172W 17" widescreen (16:9 ratio) LCD

* AirPort Extreme Base Station (the model with just Ethernet)
http://www.apple.com/airport
* Logitech MX700 wireless mouse (best mouse ever)

* Macally IceKey keyboard (IMO, best keyboard ever. perfect companion for the best mouse ever)
http://www.macally.com/spec/usb/inpu...ce/icekey.html
* Logitech Z-3 speakers (nice aluminum and wood construction, great sound)
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm?pa...p;languageid=1
* Unreal Tournament 2003 & Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon
* I'll also leave all the software on the drive. Photoshop 7, Dreamweaver MX, MS Office...
All of this is no more than 2.5 months old, all barely used. Unfortunately I no longer have the boxes for these included pieces, but have the manuals, CDs, and other materials (and if I don't have the manuals, I can find electronic versions of them). That's about $950 in extras.
Bought new, retail, all of this would sell for more than $6000. I am looking to sell the whole package for $5000: the cost of the computer, and $6 for all the extras.
The price is slightly negotiable, but not by much, so serious inquiries only please! Serious system for a serious buyer. =)
E-mail me with questions or offers, I'll get back to you usually within an hour or two. (thanks to the joys of being on 24x5 IT e-mail call...)
