Hey all,

It's time for that spring cleaning, and I'm also moving abroad so need to shift quite a few things.

I've got 2 SGI Octane's for sale, the second Octane's front-plane connector is damaged, so I'll be throwing that one in for free. The main one is a cracker of a machine with dual head graphics, and a system bus that moves video around faster than a G5.

If anyone is interested, I'd probably prefer to sell to someone who could collect it since it's gonna be a hefty amount for the 2 Octanes, 20" SGI Monitor, and software. Also would prefer to sell it in one lump, without splitting, except for the scanner and drive.

I'm in the UK (glasgow, Scotland).

Here's the specs.

Octane 250mhz R10K
MXI/SI Dual Head display
768MB Ram
Cherokee Power Supply.
Irix 6.5.22f installed.

20" SGI Granite Monitor
Boxed complete Irix 6.5.4, and can supply 6.5.22f on disk.

Second Octane:

195mhz R10K
no ram
ESI Graphics board

Canon 3000f scanner, only a few months old and only works with Windows, it's USB 2.0, but works with normal USV 1 too.

Lacie D2 cdrw external firewire drive, again it's only a few months old, and been used a couple of times.

I'm open to offers on the scanner and lacie drive.

thanks for looking.

oops, forgot to say how much I'm selling the Octanes for. £500 for the pair of them, or something near it.

cheers.

I might be up for a swap too, for something like a Tibook.

Here's the updated list for sale or swap.

SGI Octane MXI/SI

SGI Octane ESI (broken frontplane, but everything else is working).

20" SGI/Sony monitor

19" iiyama MM904UT monitor (few months old)

Canon 3000f scanner

lacie d2 cdrw

Also, and this is a long shot, I'll throw in a couple of Amiga 3000s, blast from the past material.
