Looking for a canadian buyer for my powerbook. it is a 17" 1 ghz machine with superdrive , airport extreme and bluetooth. it was custom ordered with only a 40gig harddrive to cut on costs at the tme of the purchase. there is still applecare remaining. the ram has been upgraded to a gig. the machine is in great condition. ide liek to see 3250 from a canadian buyer. i understand it is cheaper to get from the US but our canadian prices are quite a bit higher for some reason. i think 3250CDN is fair especially for the condition. any questions can go to amphora@hotmail.com or post back here.

Well personally the 40gig Drive is a huge turn off to me. I wouldn't be able to hold all my files and having to upgrade it would mean shelling out more money for a HardDrive as well as professional instalation...

agreed...

it is not that you will not be able to sell the machine, it just reduces its overall value to some potential buyers...

we all know that a 40 gig BTO only saves about $100 odd dollars for a 60 gig to a 40 gig 'downgrade', but it will cost more than that to get the drive 'upgraded'...

not to worry you will sell the machine, it just may be a bit more difficult to do so...

I guess it all depends on your relative need to sell the machine...

I am still interested, how far are you willing to go down...?
