New, 2003 production, Matsushita/Panasonic UJDA740 mechanism professionally installed in a Lombard/Pismo drive caddy with matching Lombard/Pismo faceplate. LOOKS absolutely stock but writes: 24X CDR, 10X CDRW and reads: 8X DVD-ROM & 24X CD-ROM. Unlike some other aftermarket drives, this drive is completely bootable and is set to "master" for maximum compatibility. Works with third party burning utilities (Toast, Dragon Burn, etc.) in stock 9.2.2/10.2.8/10.3.2. Will include patches for 9.2.2/10.2.8/10.3.2 so that drive is Fully Supported/AppleSupported for iTunes/DiscCopy/DiscUtility/Disc Burner, etc. burning. Very reliable, capable, quiet, sweet drive. Price $180 including trackable, insured Priority Mail. $60 credit if you trade in a complete Apple M5505/M7931 Matsushita DVD drive. $30 credit if you trade in a complete LuckyGoldstar (LG)-made Apple M7931 drive.
