I'm selling my Athlon XP 1700+ which'd make a nice drop in for an old 266fsb mobo you may have laying around to set up a nice folding machine.

Its a Thoroughbred A which means it isn't a downclocked XP2400+. However, I did run it very stably at 333fsb at 1.53ghz which equates to about an Athlon XP 2000+ or better. It's yours for for just $35 shipped.

I can include the OEM heatsink/fan combo that came with my Barton XP 2500+ for another $6 to cover the added shipping weight. Or, if you were feeling really ambitious, you could buy my nice aluminium w/ copper inset contact point Speeze 80mm hsf for even better cooling. I'll include a tube of Arctic Silver 3 thermal compound if you opt to get the Speeze hsf and it'll run an extra $12 shipped with the CPU. It looks like THIS

Newegg carries the Speeze hsf for $13.39 shipped right now but they don't throw in a free tube of Arctic Silver 3.

I'm also selling an Opened Box Retail copy of Panther 10.3, $75 shipped.

So, to recap:

AMD Athlon XP1700+ 266fsb Socket A Processor: $35

AMD OEM "stock" heatsink/fan*: +$6
and/or
Speeze 80mm "damn good cooling" hsf + AC3*: +$12

Macintosh OS 10.3 "Panther": $75
*HSF combos not available for individual sale.

I accept Paypal, personal check, cashiers check, money order.

Thanks

I noticed that you have a lot of stuff for sales lately. May I know why? Are you an end-user?

No, I'm a idiot. But seriously, I've gotten into the expensive habit of upgrading my system every 4-6mo and I realized its just killing me. So some of the stuff I'm selling to cut my losses, the other stuff I'm selling because the 15% restocking fee would be more than what I could get for it by just reselling (in the case of the Radeon 9600XT).
