Hello,

The PowerMac and display are exactly one-year old. I am a college student and travel quite a lot. I literally bring the whole setup with my on a road trip. (don't laugh)
I used to own a PowerBook G4/400 back in 2001-2002. Just want to see how much does my setup worth?

Dual PowerMac G4 1.25 (FW800)
1.25GB of RAM (stock 256MB + (2) 512MB CL2 333Mhz from Crucial)
320GB of storage in total (stock Seagate 80GB + (2) 120GB WD Special Edition)
AlchemyTV PCI card (with box)
AirPort Extreme card (with box)
Stock 32x combo drive (Philips)
Pioneer DVR-106D 4x SuperDrive (bought it few weeks ago)
ATI Radeon 9000 Pro 64MB (ADC + DVI out)
(2) USB 1.1, (2) FireWire, (1) FireWire 800 ports.
AppleCare Plan.

Apple 17-inch Studio Display (silver Apple logo)
1280x1024 res.
no bad/dead pixel.

Mac OS X 10.3 Panther (in retail box)
All manual and Software Restore media.

From System Profile

1) If I sell this specific machine, how much will I get (roughly)?
2) If I trade it for the 15" SuperDrive PowerBook (M8981LL/A) and cash?
3) If I trade it for the 17" SuperDrive PowerBook (M9110LL/A) [unlikely]?

What do you think?
Thank you for every input.

I think you could get closer to $2500 on eBay if you sold the Alchemy, Airport Extreme, DVD burner and Studio Display seperately. And in trade I don't think it would be unreasonable to want a 15" Al.

my opinion... if you cant get a straight trade for a PB, then I would start parting it out.
List the machine as stock and then sell all the other stuff seperatly.

thats my .02

Thanks.

However, all notebooks tend to be limited for internal storage. So I need a firewire enclosure/HD for that. Meanwhile, I have an iSight and iPod. Heard about that iSight bug with firewire HD. I can't plug in 3 of them at the same time unless I get a firewire hub.

Also, I want to do DVR on my Mac, I will stuck with the EyeTV or Formac Studio DVR thing.

I want portability!
