*** WILL SELL ENTIRE PACKAGE FOR $1950 SHIPPED ***

Hey all, I am selling this package in order to raise some cash for the purchase of a 15 or 17" PB (if anyone has an Aluminum 15" or 17" they are willing to part with by way of trade, I am definitely open to that). Everything is in 100% pristine condition, and I can send you pictures if you are interested in making an offer. All of the products come complete with original boxes, manuals, documents, etc. The package includes (with prices from the Apple Store):

PowerBook 1 GHz/SuperDrive (12.1” TFT) - $2,198
- 768MB DDR266 RAM
- Airport Extreme Card
- 1 GHz PowerPC G4
- 40GB HD
- SuperDrive (DVD-R/CD-RW)
- Mac OSX 10.3 Panther

Apple Mini-DVI to Video Adapter (Never opened) - $19.00

AirPort Extreme Base Station - $199

iLife ’04 - $49

Incase Nylon Laptop Shoulder Bag – $49.95

Total: $2,514.95 (without tax)

Like I said, everything is in brand new condition, I am meticulous with all of my electronics. I purchased the system in September 2003, so the AppleCare warranty still has a good 7 months on it. The screen has no dead pixels.

I am a regular on the MacRumors forums, and have sold on their marketplace. My eBay member name is "hoehnen.3", and I have a 100% feedback rating with them.

Reply, PM or email me with any offers, and I can email you pictures if you are interested. I think this could be a great deal for anyone looking for a complete system, and includes everything you need for home networking as well; it's a great deal for anyone in general. Feel free to post back with any questions as well. Thanks!

jason

i could see $1700 perhaps without the base station... that's just a bit lower than I was hoping for.

you could sell me the package minus the adapter and ilife for 1700. take the ilife to jonas and then adapter is the only thing going on ebay. wouldnt it be better to take abit less and skip the hassle of those indonesian credit cards and non-paying bidders.

eBay could be crappy sometimes, but i'd rather risk it and make $300-400 more than with what you're proposing. $1700 for a computer and a base station that are valued at $2400 new without tax just dosen't make sense... I'd consider $1900 for the laptop, case, and base station, but below that, it just wouldn't make sense for me.

Your machine sells for 1700 brand new, check amazon and all other places that sell it new. You have added a case, base station and extra ram. Somehow you think that makes it worth about 93% of the cost to buy it all new today??

if you or anyone else can find a 12" 1GHz powerbook g4 with 768RAM and airport extreme installed for $1500, please let me know where because i'd love to buy a couple then sell them for profit. i have also checked out eBay auctions that are currently running, as well as ones that have ended, and i know for a fact i can fetch WELL above $1500 for the computer alone, let alone the great extras. amphora, if you can buy my computer elsewhere for $1500, i urge you to do so; then maybe you won't crap on my thread and harass me just because i refuse to get ripped off.

if anyone else would like to make me an offer, please do, otherwise i'll post the eBay link when i put it up for auction if i recieve no offers. thanks guys.

If you read what i posted, i said i found one on ebay for 1500 without your ram and extras. Also amazon sells them for 1700. I can show you several otherplaces that sell them for that price as well. I didn't hear any comments about that. I'm just trying to inform everybody hre about what is out there. If your deal is any good at all you should not have a problem with it, I will only make yours look better. The way you are getting defensive makes it sound as though you have something to hide and you talk about not wanting to get ripped off and yet you want to supress any outside information from getting to your buyers. Finally, lets not forgot your offer of 200 to upgrade to my 15" Al that ihave for sale. You seem to have illusions of grandeur in that your stuff is worth brand new retail and mention of any less is blasphemy and yet what others have should be going for much cheaper.

if you have any more comments or concerns, harass me directly as you already have via email. i have nothing to hide; i'll send you pictures of all my stuff, i don't care. i paid full retail for my stuff; i don't think it's fair for you to value things I paid over $2,500 for in terms of discounts and other things. however, i appreciate your fact-finding, and i'll use your advice when i end up placing it on eBay... the numbers don't lie though. New, everything is worth as i priced it, and used, i don't think that $1950 shipped is too much to ask... if you disagree, i'll go through the hassles and do it on eBay. please, make any further replies offers only. if you want to continue the back and forth, PM or email me, don't continue your history of flaming threads of people who won't get ripped off by you.

At least your gtting lots of advertising.

I do not see how me placing a realistic offer translates into trying to rip you off. Im offering what the machine is worth brand new and basically would be getting a case and AE and the added ram. Doesn't seem to odd to me. If you really think im ripping you off i can post links to show you what im talking about. I would prefer to pm you but if you want tp publically make comments about me trying to rip you off then I will defend myself with the facts, soemthing you have been unable to do. I wonder why...

lets just make amends, shall we? we're obviously not going to come to an agreement, and we disagree on what i'd be able to get on the open market for my set up; i promise that i'll let you know what i get after i finish a deal for my system, ok? let's just leave it at that; i'm sorry if any of my remarks were disparaging, i just don't like it when an innocent sale thread gets hijacked, so lets just please stop the public bickering.

... any offers?
