Hi, I'm a Paypal newbie and just registered with them. I'm in the process of selling someone my ATI video card and was wondering how to protect myself from any scams out there regarding Paypal. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Make sure that once you ship the item keep the tracking number. That is your only protection thru paypal. Also become a verified member of paypal that way even if the use a stolen credit card you are safe.

Ship only to confirmed addresses. Definately make the buyer get tracking. If you don't and they say that they didn't receive it, you can be held liable.

The paypal transaction should say if the person paying is a confirmed member with his confirmed address. Don't use UPS send it through FexEx fround.

UPS/FedEx are just fine...Airborne Express/DHL as well (my preference)...basically, all PayPal cares about is a trackable carrier. To which all the above are...

After + - 70 successfull transactions with Paypal, I'm a confirmed member but cannot get the confirmed address because I'm a canadian......... )-:

Havent had a problem here....
USPS also offers a delivery confirmation number.
