I am looking to get a number of old / broken things:

-Hard drives (broken or otherwise). Shipping on these is high, so I am looking for large batches. I mostly want unusual ones (physically very large, small, or unusually shaped), but I can also use regular 3.25" drives. I also can find a home for any working 10+ GB drives, but I can not offer much for them.

-Broken (or otherwise) laptops. I could pay up to $50 + shipping for a newish one (PPC), less for an old one.

-Broken ipod. I assume that no one would sell one for $50 or less (they go on ebay for more), but if you will I would interested.

I will not pay much for any of these because shipping is often nearly as much or more than the stuff is worth to me. For those of you who want to know what I want with this stuff, I take apart the hard drives (if you want any hard drive magnets or platters let me know). I may also try to repair ipods or laptops, or I may just take them apart; it depends on the condition. I also try to recycle the aluminum casings that I get off of the hard drives and any other aluminum that I get out of the stuff. Unfortunately, I don't get that much for it (not near enough to cover shipping), but at least it gets recycled.

I have 2 Had Drives that came out of some iMacs. I think one is 8GB and the other is 20GB or so. One spins up, the other don't seem to do anything.

Whats the most you would give me for em? $5 plus shipping would work I don't need em.

(About shipping, would I need to do anything fancy to them? other than pad well...)
