Check out the item description. I am willing to cancel the auction and sell it privately. Price is $600 for that. Let me know.

No - I don't own a digital camera. However, I know friends who do and I could probably get some pics if you want.

What is the screen condition ? Do the blemishes affect the picture ? How visible are they ? Depending on the screen condition Would you be willing to do $600 shipped to Ottawa, Ontario ?

Thanx
Shawn

One blemish is from when a picture frame fell on it and scratched it. It's about 3/4" long, located about 4" up on a diagonal from the lower left corner. It's noticable but does not affect the picture quality. There is no damage to the LCD itself (like color distortion in the area), only to the surface.

The other is a small nick about 5-6" down on a diagonal from the upper right corner. It too is noticable but is small and does not affect picture quality either.

There are no dead pixels and no keyboard marks, and aside from the above two items the screen is great.

I will try to take a picture of the screen for you, if I can find someone who will lend me a camera. And, I will sell it to you for US$600 shipped if you find the screen acceptable.

Let's continue this discussion via email: cdd25 AT cornell DOT edu

Thanks!

I finally borrowed a camera and took some pictures! I don't have a server to put them up on but email me if interested and I'll send them to you.

Another thing: I made the unfortunate discovery that the battery has completely died since I last used the computer. So, I'm taking $100 off the price, making it $500. Sorry about this - it took me totally by surprise.
