512MB Ram
80gig hard drive

I've been using it for CAD, illustrator, photoshop and other heavy graphics and runs perfectly and can handle it with no problem.

AppleCare is only for 1 year. So she has been using it for 6 months now.

Yes, I've had it for 6 month. This model is barely 6 months old....so I couldn't have had it for longer than that.
