I was about to put my iBook up for auction, I'm wanting a powerbook. Its an 800 Mhz G4 iBook with 640MB RAM, 60 GB Hard Drive, Bluetooth, and Airport Extreme installed. I'm also thinking about selling my 3G 10 GB iPod, because I haven't used it as much as I thought I would, I usually listen to music at work, which I have my computer to play itunes, so I don't really need it. Would it be better to sell them separate?

I thought I'd post it here, and see if anyone is interested, and how much its worth. The iBooks are selling on eBay for around 1,200+ right now, though many have way more software than I believe is paid for, for the prices they're selling them at. I'm not sure what iPods are going for.

The iBook is set up with PHP, MySQL, mod_rewrite and mod_ssl, because I've been using it for web developement. I could leave all this in tact if the buyer wanted it on there. It also has the standard iApps, including iDVD, though it doesn't have a DVD burner. Though with the External DVD burning "easter egg" you could still make use of it.

Go ahead and PM me anyone who is interested in the iBook, the iPod, or both. Thanks.

You'd be best off money wise to sell the iPod and iBook seperately. Given the new models I imagine the iBook is probably worth around $1000 (I know it has the upgrades, I had one similarly configured for a while, but only paid $1200 or so for it new). Package deals (iPod + iBook) are usually good when one item isn't so desirable, but you've got two great items, so sell them seperately and good luck!
