Hello everybody,

I just got a CTO 17" PowerBook a week and a half ago, probably put about 12 hours of use on it, and I need to sell it to pay off some bills. It's in excellent condition - no bumps, scratches, dents, etc., and the screen is also in perfect condition.

It features a 1.33 GHz PowerPC G4 processor, 512 MB DDR RAM (1x512), an upgraded 5400 RPM hard disk, 2x SuperDrive, built-in AirPort Extreme and Bluetooth, and ATI RADEON 9600 Mobility graphics.

I really need to sell it, so I am offering two different methods. The first method is as an auction on eBay, and the other option is direct purchase through Half.com

I've been getting a few e-mails from some MacNN members.

Just a quick little note, I'll accept credit through PayPal (I don't mind the 2.9% service fee), check, cashiers check, or wire transfer. I'm just as concerned about privacy and trust as everybody, so if someone is interested, I don't mind speaking over the phone and providing a tracking number once the shipment has been made to a buyer.

Depends. Where are you located?

I'll cover the FedEx Ground price anywhere in the 48 states, if you want it insured or need a faster method of shipment, you'll have to pay the extra price.

For $2025, however, I won't accept PayPal unless you're willing to pay the 2.9% fee they charge.

EDIT: Your location says Rochester, NY. That's fine for me, but please let me know how you want it shipped, how you want to pay, and if you want it insured. For your privacy, we can talk over e-mail or iChat.

Hey, I can't take a trade (need the money), I will definitely accept $2050 through PayPal. If you're using a credit card through PayPal, I'd appreciate it if you added the 2.9% processing fee.

Either way, I accept your offer and will ship for free via FedEx ground. If you want it shipped faster or need it insured, I'll have to ask that the extra cost be covered. I'll give you a FedEx tracking number so you know exactly where it is.
