I'm the second owner of this machine, although the first owner only had it a couple of weeks. He was a college student who purchased it, then realized he really couldn't afford it, and I was more than willing to take it off his hands. :-)

This machine is in EXCELLENT condition. I've had no problems with it whatsoever. In fact, I can easily say its the best Mac I've ever owned... and I've owned 7 including this one. The only reason I'm selling it is because I'm doing a lot more traveling and want to switch to the 12" model.

The screen is perfect, with no dead or hot pixels. The hinge and latch work flawlessly. The fan hardly ever comes on, unless I'm playing a game or doing something equally intensive. There's still around 2 months factory warranty on the machine... although I've never had to take it in for repairs, or even call Apple tech support about it.

Here's some of the specs, just in case you guys don't already know them... ;-)

1Ghz CPU
256 KB L2 Cache
1 MB L3 Cache
1 GB RAM (Upgraded from the standard 512 MB)
NVIDIA GeForce 440 (64MB DDR)
60 GB Hard Drive
2 USB Ports
1 FW 400
1 FW 800
Airport
Bluetooth
Backlit Keyboard

Also Included...

Panther (Boxed edition)
iLife Suite (Boxed edition)

In addition, I'll also throw in a Spire sleeve and carrying case specifically designed for the 17" PowerBook. It's approximately a $200 value, and compliments the machine quite nicely.

I currently have the machine listed on eBay too. I have a Buy It Now price of $2450.00. That's what I'd like to get, but I am open to any serious offers.

If you have any other questions, just reply here or PM me.

Just some FYI, 2450 is way overpriced, with your extras or not, the machine is several revisions removed and anybody who knows apple will value the machine around 2000. Check around, thats what they go for, with your 1 gig of ram and applecare. Just thought i would pass that on to help you out if you need ot move the machine.
