For Sale: 12" PowerBook G4 867MHz | 640 MB RAM | 60GB Harddrive | SuperDrive | Airport Extreme

Looking to sell my fully loaded BTO 12" Rev A PowerBook (full specs below) since I will be upgrading to another notebook shortly. I bought this a little over a year ago and it has been running flawlessly since. I will be putting this on eBay in the next couple weeks if I get no interest on here, I have a 100% rating on my eBay account and will send details per request. I have seen similar spec’d PowerBooks up for auction without any extras for higher that what I’m looking to fetch.

I am looking to sell this for $1250 USD ($1200 if doing direct fund transfer through PayPal to avoid fees) which includes shipping and insurance to any location in the lower 48 states. In addition to the PowerBook and all the original manuals and accessories, I will be including the following at NO additional charge: a spare rechargeable battery ($129), screen protector ($20) and original copy of OS 10.3 Pather ($129), rubber feet repair kit, and blank Apple DVD-R media.

The machine was primarily used as a desktop and has only been taken out a dozen or so times for presentations. There are no scratches on the case to speak of, just small blemishes on the lower corner of the display near the hinge where it must have rubbed against the table (see pictures).

Screen is flawless. No dead pixels or anything. I purchased a screen protector a week after I received the PowerBook and have been using it since. It’s essentially a piece of velvet/suede-like cloth that goes between the keyboard and LCD display when closed.

With the exception of the battery not being flush (though it doesn’t wobble on a flat surface), none of the other problems plaguing the first batch of PowerBooks are non-existent on this machine. There is no warranty left on this machine since it is beyond one year, but I have read that it is possible to get AppleCare if you get it inspected at an Apple store. If interested, I can have that taken care of if buy agrees to pay for the inspection fee and price of AppleCare.

Please shoot me an email (splijinx@lycos.com) if you are interested or have any questions or concerns. Serious buyers only. Links to pictures located towards the bottom. Thank you.

Still available...gotten some nibbles but nothing solid. $1200 for everything listed and INCLUDES shipping and insurance. Will also throw in a USB light and a rare Virginia Tech Apple Supercomputer t-shirt from volunteering. PM or leave a post.
